Ekhaya FC forward Blessings Malinda sustained a facial injury during the first half of Saturday’s match against Kamuzu Barracks, following an aerial challenge with an opponent.
The incident resulted in a moderate cut to the upper lip and a superficial wound to the edge of the nose. Medical assessment confirmed that there was no damage to underlying tissue, while the nasal structure remained intact with no signs of deformity or airway compromise.
