Happy Mphepo has been named the Union Building Contractors Player of the Month for June.
The ball-playing centre-back was ever-present in all the three matches The Cowboys played last month.
Picked by technical panel for the award, Mphepo delivered a solid defensive display in our goalless draw against Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos and played a key role in the 3-1 away win over Mzuzu City Hammers.
His standout moment came in the gritty 1-0 win over Creck Sporting Club at Kamuzu Stadium, where he was instrumental in keeping a clean sheet, and deservedly walked away with the Player of the Match award.
